Swirl marks aren't dirt. They're scratches. Wax won't fix them.

We measure your clearcoat first, then run a multi-stage machine polish to remove swirls, holograms, and oxidation. Booked 1–2 weeks out for full-day correction work.

“My black sedan looked like it had spiderwebs in the paint. They showed me the defects under their inspection light, walked me through the 2-step compound and polish process, and the finish looks deeper than when I drove it off the lot. Worth every minute they spent.”

Paint Correction & Swirl Removal Services

A Mirror Finish, Defect-Free

Most "$300 paint corrections" are a single-stage hand polish that hides defects in oils for two weeks. Real correction is mechanical: compound to remove the deepest defects, polish to refine, finishing pass to set the gloss. We measure clearcoat depth at the start, photograph each stage, and never cut more paint than we have to.

What You're Experiencing

  • Spider-webbing or swirl marks visible in direct sunlight
  • Holograms or buffer trails from a previous bad polish job
  • Water spots etched into the clearcoat (wax does not remove them)
  • Dull, oxidized paint that will not shine no matter how much you wax

What We Fix

  • 1-Step Paint Enhancement (Light Swirls, Oxidation)
  • 2-Step Multi-Stage Paint Correction (Compound + Polish)
  • 3-Step Show-Quality Correction (Compound + Polish + Finishing)
  • Paint Thickness Measurement & Pre-Correction Inspection

"I called five shops. They were the only one that asked about clearcoat depth before quoting, and the only one that offered to measure it for me before agreeing to compound the paint. That's a real professional. Show-quality result."

Andre M. Google review

"Booked a paint correction as prep for a ceramic coating. The defect inspection alone was more thorough than the entire 'detail' I'd paid for at another shop. Photos at every stage, perfect handoff to the ceramic team."

Common Questions

Paint Correction Questions? Specific Answers, Not Sales Pitches.

How much does paint correction cost?

Paint correction is priced by stages and vehicle size. A 1-step enhancement on a sedan with light swirls runs different money than a 3-stage correction on a black SUV with hologram damage from a prior bad polish. We start with a free paint consultation (including clearcoat depth measurement) and price the work up front based on the actual condition. Single-stage corrections typically run $400–$700; multi-stage corrections run $700–$1,800; 3-stage show-quality correction runs $1,500–$3,000+ depending on size and severity.

How long does paint correction take?

Real correction is full-day work, sometimes two days. A 1-step enhancement is usually 5–7 hours of bay time. A 2-step correction takes a full day. A 3-step show-quality correction is two days. Anyone quoting you "paint correction in 3 hours" is doing a polish, not a correction. Those defects will come back inside the first wash. We book corrections 1–2 weeks out for the full bay time without rushing.

Will the swirls come back after correction?

Not if you wash correctly and we coat the paint. Real correction physically removes swirls. They cannot "come back" in the same place because the damaged clearcoat layer is gone. New swirls only form from new abrasion (tunnel washes, dirty mitts, dry wiping). We strongly recommend a ceramic coating after correction to lock in the result and create a sacrificial layer that takes the abrasion instead of your clearcoat. Without coating, swirls can re-form in 6–12 months depending on wash habits.
